FAVORITES OF THE 3rd KWU WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – Men -95 kg.

In the last days before the championship we will introduce you favorites of the 3rd KWUCHAMP

The forecast based on the current statistics of athletes is nothing more than a forecast. At the World Championship 2015, the most “calculated” forecasts did not concur even by 50%.

Men -95 kg

Weight category under 95 kg (16 participants)

The winners of previous two World Championships in this weight category are:

  1. Mezhevtsov Alexey (Russia);
  2. Maslennikov Nikolai (Russia).

A very interesting situation is in the weight category under 95 kg, where the competitors, who can be viewed already upon as veterans, may fight in the final. Spaniard Jonatan Tineo (39 years old) with great experience, excellent technique and a lot of world and European titles can meet with Russian veteran fighter Konstantin Fedorov (38 years old).

Jonatan Tineo

Konstantin can not boast of a large number of international titles only because his state service does not provide such trips. But the fact that he managed to become the winner of the Russian qualifying tournament in this weight category speaks by itself.

Konstantin Fedorov

Andrii Hyshko from Ukraine and Edgard Secinski from Lithuania can become the closest and most dangerous competitors of the aged athletes, as well as contenders for medals.

Edgard Secinski (in right)

The analysis of the favorites is based on the comparison of athletes’ achievements in the period from 2015 to the present day.

However, the forecast based on the current statistics of athletes is nothing more than a forecast. At the World Championship 2015, the most “calculated” forecasts did not concur even by 50%.

Tatami is the place for a feat. Whoever will be ready for the feat on the day of the tournament will win a medal.
