The International Summer Kyokushin Camp gathers fighters from 11 countries

Over 650 athletes will participate in the event, which is held for the 9th time

Summer Kyokushin Camp

The ninth international summer kyokushin camp in Kamchia will gather on July 5-12 about 650 participants from four federations and many countries: Bulgaria, Japan, Russia, Georgia, Austria, Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, Slovenia, Greece, France.

Organizer is the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation jointly with KWU. Part of the preparation is for the World Championship in Khabarovsk on October 3 and 4.

The organizers define the objectives of the camp as: strengthening the friendship between the members of the international organizations, increasing the level of mastery of the fighters and the qualifications of the coaches, conducting exams for degrees and others.

Days 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of July are set for training. On July 11 (Saturday) will be held exams for degrees – from 10th to 5th kyu including the 4th kyu and above. Besides the activities in the hardest karate style, a football tournament is planned and an evening of the talents in which each team must prepare a short artistic program within 5 minutes – free choice, revealed Secretary General of BKKF sensei Prolet Vasileva.

The event is traditional and important for the calendar of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation. Now it has a worldwide reputation and from year to year the number of the countries and fighters which participate in it increases.
