Shihan Ivo Kamenov, Alexander Pichkunov and kickboxing legends Peter Aerts and Ernesto Hoost concluded the seminar in Varna

The KWU Professional International League seminar has come to an end on Saturday when the last training session was conducted. Starting on 24 October and continuing until 26 October, for the period of three days, more than 150 young fighters from Bulgaria, Belarus, Serbia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Japan, Russia, Netherlands had the privilege to train under the guidance of the three-time K-1 heavyweight champion Peter Aerts, Shihan Ivo Kamenov – the Chairman of KWU’s Professional League and Chairman of Bulgaria’s Association of Martial Sports and Sensei Alexander Pichkunov  – the General Secretary-general of the biggest Kyokushin organization in the world (KWU).

The Dutch Lumberjack Peter Aerts did 4 training sessions in Varna. The sessions took place at The Palace of Culture and Sport in Varna. He wasn’t the only kickboxing great in presence. The four-time K-1 heavyweight champion – Ernesto Hoost, joined the party Saturday morning and he also had two training sessions conducted. The two greats put an emphasize on the clinch drills, shadow boxing, closing the distance, etc. The Bulgarian fighters had the chance to celebrate Peter Aerts’ 49th Birthday with the legend. The man himself was kind enough to take a picture with everybody that encountered him.

Shihan Ivo Kamenov – the Chairman of KWU’s Professional League and Chairman of Bulgaria’s Association of Martial Sports, was the third special guest-instructor in the facility, demonstrating advanced kickboxing techniques to the youngsters. Sensei Alexander Pichkunov was also one of the special-guest instructors at the seminar. During the final day of the Seminar he shared his knowledge with young fighters and conducted training with the K-1 world champion Ernesto Hoost.

The KWU Professional League seminar was held simultaneously with the fourth edition of SENSHI that took place on 26 October at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna.
