IFK Switzerland: 27th Kumite Weekend

In November 2019 the 26th Kumite Weekend was held, and after the Covid period, the time had come and the 27th Kumite Weekend was possible again.

Sensei Zsiga Zsolt, 3rd DAN IBK from Hungary, and a karateka, who fights internationally, was engaged as an instructor. A total of 66 Karatekas from the IFK Dojos in Anglikon, Ilanz, Kriens, Mörschwil, Obwalden, Strengelbach, Wettingen, Wohlen, and Chur had registered. Karatekas from the friendly Dojo Mori Karate Dojo Fu Rin Ka Zan also took part.

The Friday and Sunday training was carried out in the dojo in Chur. The three training sessions were held on Saturday in the gym in Felsberg. Fighting was the main theme, which was also practiced at the end of each lesson. Sensei Zsiga knows how to create interesting and varied training sessions.

We thank him for finding his way to Switzerland.
