Kenichi Osada “The Hitman”: the new leader of Kudo (video)

Kudo is, in our opinion, one of the most interesting contact styles based on Kyokushin. Its creator Azuma Takashi has undoubtedly done a very good job combining elements from Kyokushin, Judo but over time also from Muay Thai and other styles. Equally innovative is the way athletes are divided into categories, completely different from all other styles.

Azuma is no more though, he passed away on 3 April 2021 leaving behind a significant legacy and a style with a long way to go.

After the death of Azuma Takashi, the next leader of the style is Kenichi Osada. To say that the man is a “killer” is an understatement. He was one of the best fighters of the 90s, having to his credit in addition to fights in Kyokushin and Kudo, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai.

After reminding you that his racing nickname was “The Hitman”, we present to you the video he released to introduce himself to the public and give his greetings from his new position.

Kudo shows that it will not only survive the death of its creator but also spread even further. The reason for this is that it shows that he can develop leaders from within his ranks, but also because they are fighters and have long since won the acceptance of their group.
