Iran’s IFK and KWF Team Shines at Eastern Open Championships

In a remarkable display of skill, teamwork, and determination, the Iran team of the International Federation of Karate (IFK) and Kyokushin World Federation (KWF) members made their historic debut as a united force at the Eastern Open Championships & Martial Arts Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria, on December 2, 2023. The talented group not only embraced the spirit of collaboration but also left an indelible mark on the tournament, securing the runner-up position.

The Iran team’s outstanding performance was underscored by an impressive medal haul, reflecting their commitment to excellence. In a riveting showcase of martial prowess, the team clinched a total of 6 gold medals, a testament to their technical mastery and unwavering focus. Additionally, they demonstrated versatility with 2 silver medals, showcasing their adaptability in various categories. The team rounded off their stellar campaign with 3 bronze medals, highlighting their depth of talent across the martial arts spectrum.
