2nd Sao Paulo Championship of KWU SENSHI Brazil

On May 26th, the city of Taboão da Serra in the state of São Paulo hosted the second Paulista Championship of KWU SENSHI Brazil. The event, which brought together 350 athletes, stood out as a milestone in the martial arts calendar, celebrating karate in a competitive, healthy, and disciplined environment.

Competitors participated in various age and weight categories, showcasing their skills in kata and kumite modalities. The competition was a true spectacle, displaying the technique and dedication of the athletes and promoting sportsmanship among all participants.

The championship was coordinated by the renowned Shihan Francisco Filho, a global karate icon, and honored to have Shihan Glaube Feitosa, Sensei Ewerton Teixeira, and Sensei Andrews Nakahara as referees, all prominent figures in the martial arts scene. The presence of these experienced professionals ensured a high technical level in the evaluations and contributed to the event’s success.

The organization of the championship was led by Shihan Tsutomu Morimoto, president of KWU SENSHI Brazil, and Sensei Anderson Rosa from ADS Dojo. Both were fundamental to the realization of this grand event, which not only promoted karate in the state of São Paulo but also reinforced the values of respect, discipline, and perseverance.

The second Paulista Championship of KWU SENSHI Brazil not only celebrated sports excellence but also strengthened the martial arts community, encouraging the practice and development of karate throughout the country. The success of the event promises even more future editions, with the expectation of continuing to grow and inspire new talents.
