KWU SENSHI Gold Cup 2025 – Full Results

On March 15, 2025, the city of Montreal, Canada, became the center of the Kyokushin karate world as it hosted the prestigious KWU SENSHI Gold Cup. This elite tournament is recognized as one of the most significant Kyokushin events in North America, bringing together 600 skilled athletes from 72 dojos across multiple countries. The competition celebrated discipline, unity, and the warrior spirit, reinforcing the values that define Kyokushin karate.

A Gathering of Martial Arts Excellence
The event was meticulously organized by Shihan Dominic Ohan (KWU SENSHI) and Shihan Pierre Cataford (IKO Nakamura), two esteemed figures in the Kyokushin community. Shihan Glaube Feitosa, a legendary Kyokushin fighter and the KWU SENSHI North America Director, provided expert technical supervision, ensuring the highest standards of competition.

Fighters traveled from Canada, Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, and the United States, adding a truly international dimension to the tournament. Their participation demonstrated the global reach and influence of Kyokushin karate, as well as the deep respect shared among different organizations and schools.

High-Level Competition in Kumite and Kata
The tournament featured electrifying Kumite matches, where fighters engaged in full-contact battles showcasing their strength, endurance, and strategic mastery. Each bout was a testament to the rigorous training and discipline of the competitors. In addition to Kumite, the Kata divisions displayed exceptional technical precision, as athletes executed intricate forms with power and grace.
