The BELGIAN CHAMPIONSHIP for YOUTH & BEGINNERS
will take place on SATURDAY 12 NOVEMBER 2016 in Sport Centre De Zeurt, Eksterdreef 6, 2900 Schoten (Belgium)

Registration fee: 6 €
Tournament for juniors from 8 up to and including 17 years of age and
novices (young adults from 18 up to and including 21 years of age)
Juniors: The competition will take place according to a Pool-System/Group-System.
All fighters will have to use protective gear for head, hands and shins. Ladies should wear protective chest-gear, e.g. cups. Full body armour is forbidden, the solar plexus must be unprotected at all times. Protective gear for the crotch and a gum shield are necessary and thus obligatory. Please bring your own helmets.
Each fighter should be in possession of an association booklet and identity card (if younger than 12: proof of identity from the local authorities).
Novices: The competition will take place according to a Pool-System/Group-System.
All fighters will have to use shin protectors (no gloves or helmet). Ladies should wear protective chest-gear, e.g. cups. Full body armour is forbidden, the solar plexus must be unprotected at all times. Protective gear for the crotch and a gum shield are necessary and thus obligatory. Please bring your own helmets.
Each fighter should be in possession of an association booklet and identity card.
Weigthing:
The weighing of the participants will begin at 08:00 am and ends at 09:00 am.
After 09:00 am no more weightings will be allowed.
Start tournament:
Commencement of the tournament: 11:00 am.
Spectators are allowed in the tournament hall from 10:30 am.
All competitors will be divided as much as possible according to age, weight and length.
The instructors/coaches are responsible for their competitors and will need to fill in a certification on the spot.
We desire a disciplined and sportsmanlike tournament, therefore we will go through some items with you:
– Final date for submitting registration forms: 30 October 2016, unless the maximum number of participants is achieved earlier.
– Be on time for the weigh-in.
– The coach should be dressed in a tracksuit from your dojo.
– All participants should provide their own equipment and protective gear.
– All decisions made by referees will be binding and irrevocable. They also have the right to bring a fight to a stop when they feel that it would be irresponsible for a fighter to continue fighting.
– A maximum of 2 coaches per Dojo.
Referees/judges are always welcome, and should report to the competitor registration. Referees/judges are expected to be dressed in a suit and be in possession of an international kyokushin passport.
