BKKF Christmas tournament for children up to 8 and up to 10 years in Stara Zagora

The last national karate kyokushin tournament for children was held on 15 December.

On December 15, 2024, SC “Asken” – Stara Zagora and Shihan Asen Asenov hosted the last national karate kyokushin – kumite tournament for children up to 8 and up to 10 years, organized by the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation /BKKF/.

 The Christmas Tournament brought together the youngest sport hopes in karate kyokushin from all over Bulgaria, who presented themselves as strong karate dwarfs. A total of 184 competitors, representatives of 22 clubs from different cities divided into 23 categories, participated in the sporting event.

The hall in Stara Zagora was filled with tangible competitive energy from the sports events, and the children showed the best they have learned throughout the year. The young competitors took part in the tournament with a lot of enthusiasm, festive mood, and Christmas spirit, so at the end of the day, all participants were surprised with a delicious Christmas cake.

The national competition, part of the BKKF sports calendar, was the final one for this highly successful year, in which the native karatekas brought many medals for our country from several international championships and tournaments.
