A ring on the ring of SENSHI: Fight star Eduard Aleksanyan proposed to his girlfriend onstage

Tens of thousands worldwide witness the romantic proposal

One of Bulgaria’s most famous and beloved kickboxers, Eduard Aleksanyan, shook the arena at the international martial arts gala evening, SENSHI 22, with an unexpected marriage proposal to his beloved. Immediately after his landmark fight for the SENSHI European Title, he fell – onto his knees before his love, Svetla. Right after defending his title and deservedly receiving the European belt, with a big smile and to everyone’s surprise, he asked for the microphone and invited his beloved onto the stage, where, with trembling hands, he presented her with a box containing a beautiful engagement ring.

Surprised, excited, and with tears in her eyes, the woman of Eddie’s heart said a resounding and loud “Yes” and sealed the remarkable moment under the spotlights and fireworks of SENSHI in front of a ten-thousand-strong audience and viewers who watched the martial arts gala evening both on the beach of “St. St. Constantine and Helena” and on screens around the world.

“She knows she is the woman for me. Four years ago, I proposed to her for the first time, but back then, she didn’t even though I was serious. That’s why I wanted to do it right this time. I wanted to do something big for her, and what could be bigger than this?” said Eduard shortly after his thrilling marriage proposal.

Eduard and his future wife, Svetla, have been together for many years. He has often stated in interviews that she is his greatest support in good and bad. Now, the two are preparing for their wedding. We wish them much love, a wonderful wedding, and many more happy moments, both personally and on the SENSHI ring.
