In the last days before the championship we will introduce you favorites of the 3rd KWUCHAMP
The forecast based on the current statistics of athletes is nothing more than a forecast. At the World Championship 2015, the most “calculated” forecasts did not concur even by 50%.
Weight category under 75 kg (29 participants)
The winners of previous two World Championships in this weight category are:
- Petrov Stiliyan (Bulgaria);
- Midori Tsuyoshi (Japan).
At first glance, eight competitors can be included in the group of leaders in this category.
Viktor Belyaev from Russia is good. The Bulgarian fighter, Georgi Doychev, showed himself at the IFK World Cup 2017, where he took 3rd place.
One can not discount also the Japanese athlete Masazumi Nakayama. Spaniard Carlos Escribano Preciados at the 2nd KWU World Championship took the bronze, which means, at least, he aims the same target.
But we want to especially note the strong four fighters of Shinkyokushinkai: Domas Sutkus (Lithuania), Alexey Shiryaev (Kazakhstan), Igor Lamot (Poland) and Gabor Rozsa (Hungary) – one of them will definitely be in the final.
There is also Sanel Kasibovic from Slovenia, who can spoil a lot of blood to his rivals, as he is a two-time European champion and bronze medalist of the World Championships … in ITF Taekwondo.
The analysis of the favorites is based on the comparison of athletes’ achievements in the period from 2015 to the present day.
However, the forecast based on the current statistics of athletes is nothing more than a forecast. At the World Championship 2015, the most “calculated” forecasts did not concur even by 50%.
Tatami is the place for a feat. Whoever will be ready for the feat on the day of the tournament will win a medal.
