7th IFK World Championship 2025

On May 10, 2025, Leipzig, Germany, will host the 7th IFK World Championship in full-contact Kyokushin Karate, a landmark event bringing together the global karate community.

Organized by the International Federation of Karate (IFK), IFK Germany, and the Dojo “AktivSport SAXONIA,” this championship is set to take place at the QUARTERBACK Immobilien ARENA, one of Saxony’s premier multi-purpose venues.

The championship will feature nine tatami mats, accommodating approximately 600 participants from around 40 nations, totaling 1,500 active athletes.

An audience exceeding 2,500 spectators is anticipated, underscoring the event’s significance in the martial arts community.

The QUARTERBACK Immobilien ARENA, located just northwest of Leipzig’s city center, annually attracts nearly half a million guests for over 100 events, including concerts, shows, and sports.

Tickets are available for purchase through Arena Ticket and Eventim. The event ticket includes travel authorization for all MDV means of transport (tariff zone 110) four hours before and after the event.
