KWU Seminar with Sensei Dmitry Savelyev in Brazil for fighters and coaches

was held on 25-27 January, 2019; and was led by KWU World Champion Sensei Dmitry Savelyev (3rd Dan).

IFK Brazil

Sensei Savelyev shared with us:

“The event was organized on the high level.

We had a planned schedule and there was enough time not only for training sessions but also for exploring San Paulo.

1 day was devoted to the basics of kumite techniques (stance, distance, work with boxing pads) and the development of speed;
2 day – exercises in pairs, development of strength and fights;
3 day – training was not only for sportsmen but for all students and coaches (about 90 participants). Training exercises were about coordination and balance and right movements during fights. At the end of the training, everybody had a functional test.

There were sportsmen from different cities of Brasil and also from Uruguay.

It was a great experience!”

We remind you that the seminar was part of KWU trip to South America and started with KWU Argentina: 19-21 January 2019; Seminar was led by Sensei Alexandr Pichkunov (4th Dan) and Sensei Dmitry Savelyev (3rd Dan)
