The event brought together 174 competitors from 29 clubs representing the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF), who competed in the Kumite discipline across 21 different categories.

The club with the most gold medals from the championship was SC “Ikigai” from Burgas, whose athletes won a total of 11 medals at the national cup—6 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals.

As is tradition, four special awards were presented at the end of the event. The title for “Most Technical Fighter” for the boys was awarded to Georgi Vasilev from SC “Kyokushin” in Levski, while for the girls, the prize went to Darina Doinova from SC “Katana” in Veliko Tarnovo. The young karatekas who earned the “Most Spirited Fighter” awards for their performances on the tatami were Ivaylo Danev from SC “Nihonto” in Varna for the boys and Paolina Ivanova from SC “Senshi-do” from Lovech for the girls.
