Last Sunday, March 12, the Jon Bluming Memorial training was held in the sports hall De Witte in De Bilt. Prior to the training, there was an IBK members meeting in which Shihan Sem Schilt was introduced and joined the board of the International Budokai Kan.
On Friday, July 9, the IBK Dojos will meet again to present the new ideas and discuss the members’ needs. Saturday 10 June there will be a joint training, again, information about this will follow.
The training started after the special guests arrived. The internship starts with a minute of silence. After this minute, Shihan Jacques van Roosmalen started warming up. Kancho Jan de Bruin took care of the Kihon part, after this, the groups were split into three. This way the groups could each train with a different instructor at their own level. After a good 50 minutes of hard work, it was concluded with the traditional randori.
The IBK can look back on a successful event. More than 300 participants were from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
