From August 22 to 24, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, hosted the historic 1st Asian Kyokushin Championship 2024, marking a significant milestone in the martial arts community. This prestigious event brought together participants from 14 countries, all vying for supremacy in the challenging disciplines of kata and kumite.
The championship was graced by the presence of Shihan Antonio Piñero, adding a layer of prestige to the event. The competitors, representing a diverse range of nations, demonstrated exceptional skill and discipline, making for a truly memorable tournament.
Kazakhstan emerged as the dominant force, securing the top position in the country standings. Iraq followed closely in second place, with the Islamic Republic of Iran taking the third spot, rounding off a highly competitive event.
Adding to the significance of the occasion, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan attended the championship, further highlighting the importance of this event on the international stage.
