Uruguay IFK Kyokushin Karate Weekend Seminar

On September 16th and 17th the Uruguay IFK Kyokushin Karate Weekend Seminar was held

in the “Club Remeros” facilities, in Mercedes city

Uruguay IFK Kyokushin Karate Weekend Seminar

Fifty students of different ages and grades trained hard to improve their skills. Five training sessions took place on Saturday focusing on stretching, stands and balance as well as techniques´ focus and power in Kata and Kihon; while the two Sunday sessions focused on kumite.

The Seminar was led by Sensei German Carballo, 3rd Dan and President of the Uruguayan Kyokushin Karate Association (AKKU), IFK Uruguay; assisted by instructors from different dojos.
The activity was coordinated by Senpai Mario Hornos, 1st Dan (IFK Uruguay Director for Soriano department).

We would like to thank all the participants as well as family members and the Club Remeros.

Next activities:
– October 14th: Soriano spring kyu exam

– October 22: South American Kyokusin Karate Tournament in Sao Paulo (Brazil) where Soriano will be represented by 7 competitors, part of the national Uruguay team.
