Yerevan Cup 2024: International Kyokushin Karate Tournament

The Armenian Kyokushin Karate Federation proudly presents the Yerevan Cup 2024, an international open tournament for athletes of all ages. Competitors from around the world, including children, girls, juniors, men, and women, will compete in both kumite and kata categories.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Promotion of Kyokushin Karate: Enhancing the growth and visibility of the sport internationally.
  • Youth Engagement: Encouraging children and young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle through sports.
  • Character Building: Fostering the development of moral and physical qualities in athletes.
  • International Friendship: Strengthening bonds between athletes from different countries.
  • Mastery and Competition: Advancing the skill levels of participants and identifying the strongest fighters.

Tournament Schedule:

  • Mandate Commission: December 20th, 2024, 10:00 – 16:00

  • Referee Seminar: December 20th, 2024, 18:00

  • Opening of the Tournament: December 21st, 2024, 10:00
    Location: Yerevan, Alek Manukyan St., 1 Building, “Yerevan State University” Sports Hall
  • Finals and Award Ceremony: December 21st, 2024, 17:00
  • Ceremonial Closing: December 21st, 2024, 18:00
