SENSHI 24: European Title Fight and Five Bulgarians in the Ring

Drago Petrov to Defend His European Title on December 7 in Varna, Bulgaria

On December 7, SENSHI will host its final event of the year, SENSHI 24, at the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria, starting at 6:30 PM EET (11:30 AM EST). This exclusive gala evening will feature 11 exciting matchups with professional fighters from 14 countries, including five of Bulgaria’s top competitors. These athletes will showcase their skill, strength, and fighting spirit, with one of them, Drago Petrov, set to defend his European title for the second time this year.

Petrov will face Italy’s Ivan Nakari, the World and Intercontinental WPKF-PRO champion and WKMC champion of Italy. Will Petrov retain his European title? Fans will have to wait until December 7 to find out. Tickets for the event are now available through Eventim.bg, with pricing based on location and view of the central ring.

Here are the Bulgarian fighters who will take part in SENSHI 24:

  • Deyan Galinov – national MMA champion and two-time Bulgarian kickboxing champion. At SENSHI 24, Galinov will debut on the professional gala night, facing his opponent under KWU OPEN rules (modified MMA rules).
  • Petar Stoykov – multiple champion and proud winner in 8 of his 9 SENSHI appearances. Stoykov has impressive titles in his career, including the SENSHI CUP Champion and European and World Muay Thai Champion.
  • Ognyan Mirchev – European champion and world vice-champion in kickboxing, also winning numerous national and international titles.
  • Atanas Bozhilov – Winner of the European SENSHI title in the 75 kg category in 2023 with a remarkable twenty victories in the circuit so far. He is also a KGP and WAKO PRO World Champion, who has become an example for young fighters in the country and confirmed his high rank in international promotion.
  • Dragomir Petrov – four-time national kickboxing champion of Bulgaria and European SENSHI champion. In 2023, he received the special “Helmet of Spartacus” award for outstanding achievements in the SENSHI promotion. On December 7, he will defend his European title in front of the home crowd for the second time. In July 2024, he defeated Poland’s fighter Bartosz Botwina on the SENSHI 22 Gala fight card.

The 24th edition of Gala Night SENSHI is organized in cooperation with the KWU International Professional League, as well as with the special support of Armeec Insurance Company, MAX Sport, Bulgaria Air, M Car Group – BMW dealer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding.
