Sergej Braun decisions Nikola Todorovic at SENSHI 11

SENSHI 11’s main event was to remember Germany’s Sergej Braun finally met Serbia’s Nikola Todorovic.

The pair were scheduled to face each other twice in 2021, but the bout got postponed due to COVID-19.

The third time was the charm, and this time there were no roadblocks for Braun and Todorovic, and the fight was on. The bout got conducted under the KWU Full Contact rules in the -80 kg category.

The opening round was pretty evenly matched, as both guys were trying to find some chinks in the guy’s armor in front of him. Braun started with some good low kicks, while his opponent relied on his boxing skills. Braun finished the first round with a beautiful spinning kick to the body of Todorovic. The Serbian landed some massive punches to the head of the experienced German.

The Balkan fighter kicked off the second part aggressively and managed to land some powerful right hands. The exchanges were wild as Braun landed a stunning left hook that sent Todorovic a couple of steps back. Braun started to use his jab at will, which caused Todorovic some problems, even though the Serbian had the height and reach advantage.

The final round was probably the best, with both fighters going hard in the paint. Braun relied on his counter shots while Todorovic was landing massive combos to the body. Still, Braun was the one who found success with the inside game and was always finishing his combinations strong. With a minute left in the fight, Braun managed to knock down Todorovic, who got tired in the closing moments of the battle.

After a hard-fought fight, the ringside judges scored unanimously in favor of Braun.
