The SENSHI 18 Fight card impresses with 24 strong fighters

7 of the best Bulgarian fighting stars will take to the arena for spectacular victories against tough opponents

International Combat Gala Night SENSHI announces the names of the class fighters who will compete on the beach arena in Varna, “St. St. Constantine and Helena” resort, on the beach in front of the restaurant “More”.

The 18th edition of the fight show will take place on September 16 at 6:30 p.m. The fight card includes 12 fights between 24 fighters from 14 countries, with seven of the best Bulgarian fighters in kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, and Karate Kyokushin fighting for victory. SENSHI 18 participants will demonstrate their fighting techniques and spectacular skills under the ruleset of KWU SENSHI, KWU FULL CONTACT, and KWU OPEN.

At the new edition of SENSHI, some of the most attractive fights for the audience will be the Bulgarian fighters. Again, on the arena of SENSHI will come the European SENSHI title-holder in the category up to 70 kg Dragomir Petrov – champion in Muay Thai of EMC, the European SENSHI title-holder up to 75 kg. Atanas Bozhilov – European and world KGP and WAKO PRO champion, the WAKO PRO champion in K-1 style – the famous “Mr. Show” – Eduard Aleksanyan, the famous Bulgarian MMA star Mariyan Dimitrov – national wrestling champion, Sambo and grappling, European Kyokushin Karate Champion and Bulgarian Kickboxing Champion Kristyian Doychev, World Kickboxing Champion Konstantin Mihailov, as well as National Kickboxing Champion and attractive fighter Mihail Velchovski.

The main two fights of the evening will be for the SENSHI European titles in the under 90kg and the heaviest 95+kg category. In the 11th bout of the KWU FULL CONTACT rules fighting gala, European WAKO RRO K-1 winner Ahmed Krnjic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and WAKO PRO K-1 World champion Bruno Suzano of Portugal will square off in the ring. In the last 12th fight for the prestigious European title, up to 90 kg will face each other the European K-1 champion Jacob Styben from Germany and the Bulgarian renowned fighter Eduard Aleksanyan, ranked in the TOP 10 of the best kickboxers in the world in middleweight by the prestigious Combat Press media.

Many young and promising fighters will demonstrate their skills for the first time in the SENSHI arena and will fight for a spectacular victory. These are the WKN Junior World Champion Vincenzo Di Nicola from Italy, the two-time national Muay Thai champion Lukas Kotleba from Slovakia, the WKM European Kickboxing Vice-Champion Ayoub Benaddya from Spain, the first-place winner of the DFN World Muay Thai Championships Alex Fernandez from Spain, the European and national Muay Thai champion Sebastian Lutaniuk from Romania, the world and European kickboxing champion Madicke Camara from France, and the WFL MMA world champion Tony van Dijk from the Netherlands.

Sensei Zahari Damyanov, who was the World Absolute Kyokushin Karate champion in 2015, 4-times American Absolute champion, and 4-times European champion in the 90+kg super heavyweight division, Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI, will serve as referee and judge at the SENSHI 18 Fighting Gala, together with Sensei Jan Soukup – the European Kyokushin champion, who wins 2nd place 9th Kyokushin World Open 2007, All Japan Tournament winner, Yangame’s Fight Night Heavyweight champion, Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI Europe.

Sensei Petar Martinov, the Kyokushin World champion 2014, Kyokushin European champion 2006, 3rd place European Open 2008, 3-times European Tameshiwari champion, one of the most outstanding fighters of Bulgarian Kyokushin Karate, and a Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI, will also attend the international fight gala in Varna on 16 September.

Joining the stellar group of fighting legends are the spectacular K-1 Max champion Albert Kraus – the first SUPERKOMBAT middleweight champion who also holds four separate world titles in kickboxing and Muay Thai – and Andy Souwer, who is a two-time K-1 MAX world champion and four-time world champion at the Shootbox tournament, as well as the It’s Showtime 70MAX world champion.


The fight gala SENSHI 18 will be broadcast live on Bulgaria ON AIR and Max Sport for Bulgaria, as well as in real-time worldwide on American television FITE, senshi.com, boec.bg, boec.comkwunion.com и kyokushinkarate.news.
