Timekeeping and rhythmic standards of IFK kata

This video is a video appendix to the Reference Manual “Timekeeping and rhythmic standards of IFK kata”, written by Shihans Alexander Tanyushkin (8th dan) and Victor Fomin (7th dan).

It contains examples of the systematic use in Russia of the kata voicing method introduced into the practice by Hanshi Steve Arneil to master the standards of kata rhythmics to effectively memorize them, improve coherence and synchronize the performance of kata by large groups in training and teams in competitions. The recordings were made in 2021 in Russia at three seasonal training camps under the leadership of Shihan Victor Fomin and in Switzerland at the 1st Kata World Cup. The rhythmics of the IFK kata established by Hanshi Arneil makes them the “visit card” and the style face of the School, one of their factors in uniting the international organization.
